Project Background and Objectives
Project Background
The Green Tick project takes action against the uncontrolled spread of health, diet and sport related contents in social media and digital apps. Literature indicates that such content can have a negative impact, particularly on young people. As such, Green Tick aims to assess whether the information related to health, diet, and sports on these platforms is appropriate, reliable, and verifiable for youth. This initiative is akin to how the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) evaluates the use of supplements by athletes.
