The symposium focuses on “The Regulation and Systematization of Social Media Content and Digital Apps Related to Health, Diet, and Sports.” In an era where online platforms are flooded with information on nutrition, exercise, body image, and wellness, the Green Tick project seeks to counter misinformation and create a reliable framework.
The one-day event will gather researchers, academics, and practitioners from across Europe for a rich program of exchanges. The sessions will open with a welcome and introduction to the project, followed by expert presentations on topics such as pain monitoring in sports, the role of the initiative in teacher education, and systematic reviews of existing practices. Participants will also be introduced to the Green Tick Quality Label, a cornerstone of the project’s efforts to ensure credibility in digital health and fitness content. The symposium will close with presentations on the Green Tick Academy and the accompanying guide, offering a comprehensive vision for the project’s future impact.
